Health Savings Account (HSA)

HSA’s are designed to help individuals covered under a High Deductible or “catastrophic” health plan save money through tax-deductible contributions to cover current and future qualified medical expenses.

How to Apply: New Members

Step One
Before applying for a Health Savings Account, you must become a credit union member. Click here to complete your application to join Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union.
Step Two
You’ll need two forms of identification for everyone on your account
Step Three
There is a $25 minimum balance requirement for your share deposit account (at opening)

*Membership eligibility required. There is a $2.00 monthly administration fee with Health Savings Accounts. You must have a high deductible health plan or a “catastrophic” health plan in order to be eligible for an HSA account.
