Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union's Mission
The mission of the Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union, a financial cooperative, is to provide sound competitive financial services to those individuals who are associated with the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.
The credit union, owned by its members, is committed to the philosophy of helping its members in a responsible, caring and professional manner, and it seeks to maintain long-term financial stability and safeguard the assets of its members.
Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union's Vision
Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union is looking at the long-term future of its operation. Our positive attitude and our commitment to all members is our greatest strength. The Board and staff realize the need to modernize and expand our service offering, while maintaining our "personal touch".
Field of Membership
Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Members must share the following common bond:
- They must be employees or directors of rural electric cooperatives within the State of Arkansas; and ERMCO, a wholly-owned subsidiary, located in Dyersburg, TN.
OR
- They must be spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of the credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from above employment; employees of the credit union; members of their immediate families; or organizations of such individuals.

Credit Unions for Kids is the credit union movement's name for the program that supports the Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Each year, Arkansas’s credit unions raise money to support Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In 2008, Arkansas Credit Unions did an outstanding job of raising more than $150,000 through Credit Unions for Kids fund raising.
